cauri gaismai

no veļu dienām līdz gaismas laikam,
un gaismu gaismai mēs iesim cauri,
lai otrā pusē mums pietiek tvaika,
un iztur sliedes, un nekļūst šauri
gar plānu maliņu dzirdeslokam,
kā putekļcukurs, krīt tukšas skaņas,
kas kādreiz veidojās analogi,
kā pamatmaņas
caur gaismas laiku līdz piena ceļam
(un varbūt galā mēs nenomirstam)
tās visas rētas – no akvareļa,
un arī asinis nebūs īstas,
un arī ieroči – rekvizīti:
tos labāk atstāsim citai ainai
jo mūsu saulaina būs, par spīti,
un daudzkrāsaina
no piena ceļa līdz gaismas staram,
pa ceļam izdziedot lielo dziesmu
cik reizes mēģinām, kamēr varam,
cik reizes sadegam līdz ar liesmu
bet kamēr ceļamies pat no pelniem
un savu iedvesmu liekam krāsnī,
varbūt mēs izejam ogļmelni,
bet gaismas dāsni

wrinkled fingers pat the sand,
grainy crumbs of time
tell me softly how to land
ice and snow storms always end,
buried up in grime
every winter ends in spring,
fighting with the dark
warn me calmly that it stings,
that transforming everything
leaves some itching marks
every hesitant “what if”
maybe turns to “let's”
teach me wisely how to grieve,
then to filter through a sieve
fears and regrets
when we see the final sign –
there's another turn
lead me through the firing line
do we always intertwine,
when we need to learn?
lived through miracles and pain,
open to explore
make me ready once again
for the world, that now and then
brings us all ashore
pen and paper, lying still,
something's always right.
show me feelings that i will
turn into a useful skill –
living through the Light

сквозь свет

|
мы живем параллельно свету,
и так редко живем насквозь
путь к стальному иммунитету
ни одна не укажет ось
в деревянной оконной раме
отблеск майской пустой луны
если кто-то снимал нас в драме, –
то мещанской, за полцены
провести по стеклу рукой –
как примета на непокой
кто-то ищет свою хозяйку,
чтоб варила имбирный суп,
во дворце собирала стайку
тех, кто честен, хорош, неглуп
кто-то, верный своим сюжетам,
строит башню, и в ней – очаг,
чтобы в тереме непрогретом
не селился колдун и враг
им обоим один ответ:
мы хотели бы жить сквозь свет
кто укажет тогда дорогу,
направление, колею?
верить можно какому богу,
чтобы выиграть в каком бою?
солнце в супе совсем живое,
в башне – яркие витражи
чтобы встретились эти двое,
ты сценарий перепиши,
чтобы сразу раскрыть сюжет:
мы стараемся жить сквозь свет
